Adaptive Youth Sports Camp Description
This camp includes three 2-hour sessions, each thoughtfully structured to create a welcoming and enriching environment for every participant. Here's what to expect each day:
10 Minutes – Check-In & Settle In
A chance for campers to get comfortable with the environment, meet the coaches, and connect with peers in a calm, low-pressure setting.20 Minutes – Dynamic Warm-Up & Agility Drills
Interactive exercises focused on improving listening, coordination, communication, and body movement in a fun and encouraging way.30 Minutes – Sport-Specific Skill Work
Campers will be introduced to basic skills and rules of different sports—Soccer, Basketball, and Kickball/T-Ball/Wiffle Ball—with an emphasis on participation, skill development, and understanding the game.30 Minutes – Scrimmage Play
Team-based scrimmages allow campers to apply what they've learned while working on following rules, improving agility, being coached, and—most importantly—having fun with others.30 Minutes – Cool Down & Social Time
A relaxed end to the session with light movements, a nature walk, small games, and opportunities to socialize and reflect in a calm environment.
All sessions will be adjusted based on survey responses to best meet participant needs and ensure a low-stress, safe environment for growth and learning
